Having established your objectives and the keywords you’re most keen to target, we’ll set to work optimising your business profiles and content.
We’ll look to improve your visibility for one core keyword and three more specific product or service keyword sets in the first three months. After that we’ll continue to work our way through your list, in priority order, one keyword set a month.
By keyword set we mean the keyword on its own, plus the keyword with the most common geo-specific modifiers.
For example, if you were running a window cleaning business and wanted to increase your visibility for your gutter cleaning in your home town of Crawley, we’d look to assess and improve your rankings for the three keywords below:
- [gutter cleaning]
- [gutter cleaning near me]
- [gutter cleaning Crawley]
We may include synonymous keywords in the set – but we firmly believe that Google and other searches engines are getting better at understanding that some search terms are interchangeable, so we won’t waste too much time, or keyword ranking allocation, tracking your rankings for both.
Following this example through, synonymous keywords might include [soffit cleaning].
