How do you decide what to do and where to start?

The detail within your proposal – which will outline what we plan to do – will be informed by the consultation, the research we conduct after, and our own experience of course.

We may request ‘read-only’ access to some of your business data after the consultation to help us do our research.

We will use tools to assess your position prior to starting work to help us make recommendations.

These tools will include local rank tracking where we will be able to monitor your performance for the keywords being targeted against up to four competitors, both in the organic listings and in the Local Pack (for one location), as above.

Since we know your rankings will differ based on the precise location where the search was conducted, we’ll also use another tool to highlight your rankings at your address, and at up to 25 locations within an agreed radius of your location, for example 1 mile.

We can use this information to establish where you are ranking well and where improvements could be made – for each keyword – and also who your main competitors are for each.

In the setup and one-off optimisation phase (i.e. months one to three), we will focus on claiming/verifying and populating your core business profiles, competitor profile monitoring & reporting and Citations management – and look to optimise your profile for up to three keywords.

If you’re looking for more support after this period, or have more keywords you want to target, you can sign up for one of our management packages. We’ll continue to review the work we started, making recommendations where appropriate, and in addition will look to utilise the features in Google My Business and/or Bing Places for Business, and proactively look to help generate reviews from your customers.
